Yes my friends, UPEPO now has some presence in the Internet! This website has been a personal project of yours truly, took many months to make, and will require constant maintenance and updating from here on out. It is not yet as complete as I would like it to be, but should already be a good step forward.

There are some drawbacks for very small organizations to develop and maintain a site like this — funding. The cost of development, the annual registration fee to the Internic, and the monthly website hosting fee, the last two in dollars even, all add up. For the moment, I have personally paid and am paying for all the above. But, the Student Council has plans to ask for the help of sponsors. Hopefully, for a small fee, some companies would want to advertise in this site. The studentry and alumni of UPEPO can also pitch in. Go to the Studentry or Alumni page to check out how.

The primary goal of this website is to provide information to the students. However, we are hoping that through sponsors, pop-up ads, donations, and other means, we will have some monetary gains that we can then use to fund improvements for our school.

Come and visit our site often. You can now conveniently find out things and get involved with projects you are interested in. We have many school and community projects lined up. After all, we are graduate students who are in better positions to help our community in some way or another. You are not here in UPEPO just to upgrade yourself, are you?
