Library Fund Campaign
by Kenneth Rementilla
Have you ever wished there were more books in the library? A wider
selection of reading materials? Ever been frustrated of finding out that
the book you're looking for, which happens to be an only copy in the UPEPO
Library, was borrowed?
The UPEPO Student Council (SC), through the leadership of President Danny
Piano, project coordinator VP for Academic Affairs Kenneth G. Rementilla,
and all UPEPO SC Officers, has formally launched the Library Fund campaign
last July 11, 2003.
The project actually started when the UPEPO Student Council co-presented
the JAM FOR PEACE Summer Concert last April of this year. The revenue
share that will go to UPEPO will be allocated to the purchasing of books
and reading materials for the Library.
A Library Fund Donation Box is installed in the UPEPO Library.
So we're calling all UPEPOers and alumni to support this project. Together, let's make our library a venue of good
books and readings, a place where Van Hornes, Bautistas, Meyers, Koontzs, Heinzs, and Stevensons of recent ages (editions
I mean) are readily available. Article Date: 24 July 2003
