THE SY-2003-2004 COUNCIL
 

The election for the SY 2003-2004 Student Council was conducted on August 23, 2003. There was only one candidate for each SC position and all came from the party headed by the president of the previous Council. Although there were no opposition candidates, the lone candidates for each position need to garner a majority vote from the total votes cast. As it happened, the student body showed overwhelming support resulting in a majority vote for each of the candidates.

OFFICERS

There were, originally, seven positions in the Student Council, namely: President, VP for Academic Affairs, VP for Non-Academic Affairs, Secretary General, Treasurer, Auditor, and Public Relations Officer. Three more positions were created by the previous SC through the Constitution, namely, the Program Representatives for each academic program. These positions were included in this school year's SC elections and the very first time that each academic program will have its explicit voice in the council.
